Andre N. Mamprin Leader / Knowledge Architecture

Andre Mamprin is richly experienced in leadership development. Before co-creating The Next Institute, Andre served as Director of Leadership Development at The Banff Centre - one of Canada's premier centres for leadership - where he led a renewal of the entire suite of highly experiential leadership development programs. He was instrumental in the design and delivery of leadership and organizational development programs for a wide range of industry clients. He was the co-architect of The Leadership Lab™ exploring issues of organizational leadership worldwide.

Prior to that, Andre held a leadership position with the Business Development Bank of Canada, where he led a team of skilled consulting practitioners on a myriad of consulting projects with a key focus on growth, quality, and export issues.

As a partner in Quest Management Consulting Inc., Andre worked with dozens of organizations in a variety of sectors in the areas of strategic planning, organizational design, knowledge management, succession planning, and investor relations. This experience served as foundation for the development of his Strategic Action Model™, a management tool to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness. Andre has co-written a book on investor relations called Quest's Guide to Effective Investor Relations©.

Andre is an experienced entrepreneur, having successfully acquired, developed, operated, and sold a number of businesses in the oil and gas, manufacturing, export, and knowledge industries. He has hands-on, applied experience in strategic planning, internal management systems, managing growth and shrinkage, developing external markets, and improving profitability. He was awarded the American Marketing Association's Marketer of the Year Award in 1990.

Andre is currently researching in the areas of network leadership, creating knowledge ecologies, emerging capacities relating to leadership character, and the generative space which breeds innovation. He is an intense seeker of new knowledge, an archivist, and a map-maker. He is an experienced international traveler.

Andre holds a Masters Degree in Leadership and Knowledge Management. He is an interdisciplinary thinker and creative visionary with a keen ability to analyze and apply a systems approach to a host of contemporary strategic issues. He lives with his life partner, Patricia Glenn, in Calgary, Canada. Andre places great leadership at the heart of all individual and organizational success.
